Courage Club is a 6-week, trauma-informed youth program held once a week that combines movement, boxing, and mental wellness skills in a fun, supportive environment. Created by a licensed therapist, this program uses the fundamentals of boxing to help kids build confidence, manage emotions, and develop resilience—both inside and outside the gym.
Each session is designed to strengthen the connection between mind and body while teaching practical life skills. Through guided activities, participants will learn how to handle stress, adapt to challenges, stay present, and build self-discipline—all in a way that feels engaging and empowering.
Kids will not only develop physical coordination and boxing skills, but also:
Increase self-confidence and emotional awareness
Learn healthy ways to cope with stress and big feelings
Build resilience, grit, and a growth mindset
Improve focus, mindfulness, and self-control
Strengthen social skills and experience a sense of belonging
Every class (60–75 minutes) includes a brief intention-setting circle, warm-up, structured boxing rounds, and a guided reflection to help kids connect what they learned in movement to real-life situations.
Courage Club emphasizes inclusion, compassion, and non-judgment, creating a safe space where kids are encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another, and grow—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
